UAE travel update: Full list of airlines revising Dubai and Gulf flight schedules
Flight schedules revised as security concerns persist
DUBAI – Airlines in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and around the world are continuing to adjust flight schedules as renewed regional tensions disrupt air travel across the Gulf.
While operations at UAE airports have remained largely stable, services to several destinations, including Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, have been affected by ongoing security concerns and airspace restrictions.
A total of 16 UAE-operated flights were cancelled on Monday, with dozens more cancellations scheduled through Tuesday and Wednesday. The latest disruptions follow renewed attacks across the region after a short-lived ceasefire between the United States and Iran. Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan have been among the countries most affected. Meanwhile, international mediators are working on a proposed 10-day ceasefire aimed at easing tensions and reviving the interim truce agreed in June.

Etihad Airways
Etihad Airways has extended cancellations on several services between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait and Bahrain.
Kuwait
- Flights EY653 and EY654 between Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Kuwait International Airport (KWI) remain cancelled until Friday, July 24.
- The airline said the cancellations are due to operational reasons.
- Services to Kuwait have been disrupted since Sunday.
Bahrain
- Flights EY647 and EY648 between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain International Airport (BAH) remain cancelled until Thursday, July 23.
- Bahrain services have faced disruption since last Thursday after one Etihad flight was forced to divert and return to Abu Dhabi.
Emirates
Dubai-based Emirates has also extended cancellations on selected routes to Kuwait and Bahrain.
Kuwait
The airline has cancelled the following services until Wednesday:
- EK853
- EK855
- EK857
- EK859
- Bahrain
Flights EK835, EK837 and EK839 have remained cancelled since Saturday.
According to Bahrain News Agency, repeated drone attacks targeting the country's civil aviation navigation equipment and air traffic systems have contributed to the disruptions.
flydubai
Low-cost carrier flydubai has adjusted its Bahrain schedule while maintaining operations to Kuwait.
Bahrain
Flights FZ021 and FZ023 between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Bahrain were cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Kuwait
Flight FZ063 remains scheduled to operate on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Air Arabia
Air Arabia continues to operate many services, although several flights have been cancelled or delayed across its Abu Dhabi and Sharjah operations.
Kuwait
- Flight 3L020 between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait has been cancelled on Tuesday.
- Flight 3L022 arrived late on Sunday but is scheduled to operate normally on Monday and Tuesday.
- From Sharjah, flights G9068 and G9124 were cancelled on Monday and Tuesday.
- Flight G9121 arrived slightly behind schedule on Monday and is due to depart as planned on Tuesday.
Bahrain
- Flight 3L015 arrived a few minutes late on Sunday and Monday.
- Flight 3L017 is expected to operate on schedule.
Qatar
Flights G9040, G9130 and G9138 to Doha have been cancelled until Wednesday.
Meanwhile, flights G9081, G9135, G9132 and G9027 continue to operate.
Air France
Air France has widened its regional suspensions following continued security assessments.
- Beirut services remain suspended until August 2.
- Riyadh flights are suspended until July 24, with services expected to resume on July 25.
- Dubai flights are suspended until July 27, with a planned restart on July 28, subject to security reviews.
The airline said affected passengers are being contacted directly and can postpone or cancel their travel free of charge, even if their flight has not been cancelled. Air France said safety remains its highest priority and that operations will resume only after further security assessments.
Aegean Airlines
- Dubai flights suspended until August 31.
- Erbil and Baghdad services suspended until September 30.
airBaltic
- Dubai flights cancelled until October 24.
Air Canada
- Flights to Dubai and Tel Aviv suspended until October 24.
Cathay Pacific
- Dubai passenger services expected to resume on October 25.
- Riyadh flights scheduled to restart on October 26, later than previously planned.
Finnair
- Doha flights suspended until October 2.
- The airline continues avoiding the airspace of Iraq, Iran, Syria and Israel.
- Seasonal Dubai services are expected to resume in October.
British Airways
- Doha flights delayed until August 1.
- Riyadh services postponed until August 8.
- Flights to Dubai, Bahrain, Amman and Tel Aviv remain suspended until October 25, the end of the summer schedule.
- When operations resume, the airline plans to operate one daily flight to Dubai, Doha, Riyadh and Tel Aviv, while discontinuing its Jeddah route.
LOT Polish Airlines
- Winter Dubai services are planned to begin in October.
- Beirut operations are expected to return with the Summer 2027 schedule.
Lufthansa Group
- Lufthansa and SWISS have extended the suspension of Dubai flights until September 13.
ITA Airways
- Riyadh flights suspended until July 31.
- Dubai services suspended until October 24 for operational reasons.
Singapore Airlines
- Singapore-Dubai flights remain suspended until October 24.
- The airline has added extra services on the Singapore-London Gatwick and Singapore-Melbourne routes through October 24 to accommodate increased demand.
Wizz Air
- Flights from mainland European destinations to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Amman remain suspended until mid-September.
